Dr. Love is board-certified in Nuclear Medicine and will be practicing at 365 E Main St, Patchogue, NY 11772 and 640 County Road 39, Southampton, NY 11968.
Dr. Love received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. After exposure to imaging and therapy of thyroid diseases, she found Nuclear Medicine to be both fascinating and challenging. Dr. Love went on to complete her Nuclear Medicine Residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York.
Prior to joining NY Imaging Specialists, Dr. Love has been an Attending Physician in the Department of Radiology for the Division of Nuclear Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center. Additionally, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
She co-chaired the establishment of practice guidance and parameters for use of Lu-177 DOTATATE for treatment of NET for the American College of Radiology (ACR), the premier entity for practice parameters in the USA. Additionally, Dr. Love spearheaded the inclusion of a new imaging agent, F-18 Fluciclovine, at Montefiore Medical Center for imaging of patients with biochemical recurrence of prostate cancer.
Additionally, Dr. Love is as a board member of the General Clinical Nuclear Medicine Board of the SNMMI, JRCNMT, representing the ACR, and AUC committee for infection imaging, and is a lecturer and reviewer of many continuing medical education programs.
