Chief of Neuroradiology

Jared M. Dunkin, MD is a skilled board certified radiologist. Dr. Dunkin is well versed in a myriad of radiological modalities. His aptitude in providing superior patient care is truly unmatched.

Prior to starting his career at New York Imaging Specialists, Dr. Dunkin most-recently served as the associate program director for integrated interventional radiology and the program director of diagnostic radiology at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital. He was also appointed as an Assistant Professor at SUNY Stony Brook’s Department of Radiology.

Dr. Dunkin earned his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Binghamton University, attaining Dean’s List. Dr. Dunkin then continued to complete his medical doctorate at SUNY Stony Brook, becoming a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his internal medicine internship, and diagnostic radiology residency at SUNY Stony Brook’s Radiology Department. While attending, Dr. Dunkin received the 2008 RSNA Roentgen’ Resident/Fellow Research Award. Dr. Dunkin then completed his neuroradiology fellowship at the prestigious Yale University’s Department of Radiology.

Dr. Dunkin is a member of numerous prestigious organizations including the American Medical Association, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Long Island Radiological Society.
