Andreea Birtan is a certified physician assistant who provides comprehensive patient care across a range of clinical settings. She is experienced in patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and coordination of care, with a strong foundation in both medical and surgical disciplines.
She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program and her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Binghamton University. During her clinical training, Andreea completed rotations in internal medicine, emergency medicine, general surgery, women’s health, pediatrics, family medicine, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and behavioral health at multiple hospital and outpatient sites throughout New York.
Andreea is licensed and registered in New York State and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She holds BLS and ACLS certifications and maintains DEA registration. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a clinical preceptor for physician assistant students and has contributed to published medical research. She speaks fluent English and Romanian and is proficient in Spanish.
