Dr. Lachlan McG Smith is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist known for delivering fast, accurate, and high-quality patient interpretations, ensuring optimal outcomes. Dr. Smith specializes in advanced cardiovascular CTA, MRI, and cross-sectional imaging in the abdomen, with a specific focus on liver, adrenal, and renal pathologies.
Dr. Smith earned his Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University and his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. Dr. Smith completed his Diagnostic Imaging Residency at Rhode Island Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship at Yale University. Dr. Smith serves as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Stony Brook University, where he previously served as Director of Advanced Cardiovascular CT/MR Imaging.
